Snow Atop Ober Gatlinburg

Looking from the Gatlinburg Space Needle web cam,  we see lots of early snow atop the Tennessee Smokies.  Appears ski season may come early for Ober’ Gatlinburg!
 

Christmas is soon to arrive in the Smokies and across the country.  Gatlinburg is no exception.  Locals from Knoxville and the outlying Tennessee areas are making their trek to find great deals on very unique gifts. 

 The economy seems to have taken a hit this year, this is great news for annual visitors to the Smoky Mountains.  There are great opportunities to save in all aspects of vacation travel.  Snow buff’s, if my predictions are correct, this will be a great year for a Season Pass to Ober Gatlinburg.  Weather in the Smokies points to a long winter with more than usual snow predictions.

• Hillbilly Jokes & Others

  Hillbilly Awareness 1. Don't be surprised to find movie rentals and bait in the same store. 2. "Mom'n'em" is not one person. When someone asks, "How's your Mom'n'em?" They are referring to the whole family. 3. Remember, "You all" is singular, "All ya'll" is plural, and "All y'alls" is plural possessive. 4. Get used to hearing, "You ain't from arouncheer, are ya?" 5. If you hear "Hey, y'all, watch this," move out of the way there's something stupid about to happen. 6. Hillbilly's aint quite figured out turn signals so they are a novelty. 7. When you see a hillbilly driving 15 mph down the middle of the road, remember that most folks learn to drive on a tractor and the rest learned to drive while hunting from the road. 8. Do not be surprised to find that 10 year olds own their own shotguns and are proficient marksmen. Or that their Mammas taught them how to aim. 9. Duct tape is not only part of every survival kit; it is the WHOLE kit. 10. If you hear a turkey gobble, get out of the way. "Hillbillies" view a turkey gobble like city folk to payoff bells at a slot machines only da hillbilly has a gun.
