Normally I do not write articles from outside the Smoky Mountains immediate area, however a recent visit to Franklin Tennessee yeilded such an impact that I felt we would be amiss not to mention something you may treasure as you visit through Tennessee.
Nearby Franklin Tennessee- puts on an annual event called “Charles Dickens Christmas.” This event is a lot more than this one photo, it is wonderful for young and older alike.
The entire town as well as visiting vendors play a role in the Charles Dickens novel. Such effort and detail in costume as well as acting deserves recognition by the state of Tennessee and merits more mention by the state tourism media outlets. Great job all of you!
