Sevierville Diner Cruisin Benefit

The Diner Rats Car Club will hold its second annual ‘Cruisin For Food’ event this Saturday.  The event benefits Sevier County Food Ministries and the Wears Valley Ranch Childrens Home.  This is an open event to every day vehicles and classic cars, trucks, or motorcycles.  Please bring non-perishable food for donations.

Starting at 11am Saturday, the car club will caravan from Smokies Park Baseball Stadium to The Diner, on Highway 66 Winfield Dunn Parkway, next to Lowes.  Trucks will be on site for loading of food donations to be transported to Sevier County Food Ministries and the Wears Valley Ranch Childrens Home.

They are looking forward to several of you folks joining the caravan, however if you cannot please still considering making food donations this Saturday at The Diner,  Thank you.

  Hillbilly Awareness 1. Don't be surprised to find movie rentals and bait in the same store. 2. "Mom'n'em" is not one person. When someone asks, "How's your Mom'n'em?" They are referring to the whole family. 3. Remember, "You all" is singular, "All ya'll" is plural, and "All y'alls" is plural possessive. 4. When you see a hillbilly driving 15 mph down the middle of the road, remember that most folks learn to drive on a tractor and the rest learned to drive while hunting from the road. 8. Do not be surprised to find that 10 year olds own their own shotguns and are proficient marksmen. Or that their Mammas taught them how to aim. 9. Duct tape is not only part of every survival kit; it is the WHOLE kit. 10. If you hear a turkey gobble, get out of the way. "Hillbillies" view a turkey gobble like city folk to payoff bells at a slot machines only da hillbilly has a gun.
