Watch Out Sturgis! Here Comes Pigeon Forge

Sturgis has long been known as the biggest and rowdiest annual motor bike rally the US has to offer, well maybe its time to move over or not.  

Pigeon Forge Tennessee city planners have opened the door for future bike rallies by allowing Grand Hotel to hold the Rumble in the Hills Bike Fest.  The local newspaper reads ‘Bikers, babes and beer’, wow what a shock for this family vacation destination set in the scenic Smoky Mountains.  Then again, Woodstock made history from a Virginia farm in the middle of nowhere. 

City officials along with local police plan to watch the bike rally closely, special concerns were the bear sales at the hotel.  WIMZ radio and Miller Lite Beer are sponsors for the bike rally, featuring concerts by Blackfoot, Christy Hemme and her band, and Classic Rocks, a local band.  Highlight for many will be the ”MIss Rumble In The Hills Bikini Contest.”

  Hillbilly Awareness 1. Don't be surprised to find movie rentals and bait in the same store. 2. "Mom'n'em" is not one person. When someone asks, "How's your Mom'n'em?" Duct tape is not only part of every survival kit; it is the WHOLE kit. 10. If you hear a turkey gobble, get out of the way. "Hillbillies" view a turkey gobble like city folk to payoff bells at a slot machines only da hillbilly has a gun.
