Gatlinburg Tennessee Host To Harley Bike Rally?

Annual Harley Biker Rally - Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson & Buell representatives met with Gatlinburg City Commisioners to discuss an annual bike rally downtown Gatlinburg in the month of May, prior to Labor Day.  The event would bring an estimated 6,000 to the city with over $2.6million in revenue in its first year.  The proposal was out of respect for the city of Gatlinburg.  Requests were that one lane of traffic to be closed for motorcycle parking during the event and closure of Airport Rd one night for a proposed event-ending-outdoor concert.

When you see a hillbilly driving 15 mph down the middle of the road, remember that most folks learn to drive on a tractor and the rest learned to drive while hunting from the road. 8. Do not be surprised to find that 10 year olds own their own shotguns and are proficient marksmen. Or that their Mammas taught them how to aim. 9. Duct tape is not only part of every survival kit; it is the WHOLE kit. 10. If you hear a turkey gobble, get out of the way. "Hillbillies" view a turkey gobble like city folk to payoff bells at a slot machines only da hillbilly has a gun.
