Tennessee Smoky Mountains Snow

Skiers at Ober Gatlinburg are surely happy for all the snow as road crews in the area have seen more action than they care for.  This has been an unusual snow fall year.

Most Pigeon Forge theaters have had to add shows to their schedules to accommodate the added attention of the warm indoors.  Progress on up and coming attractions for this Spring have slowed, but continue.

Have not heard much more on the new Waldens Landing Theater, will have to get back on that.  However, it appears visitors to the Tennessee Smoky Mountains will want to keep their eyes out on the web and our Smoky Mountain Web Cams.  Lots of change coming to the area this Spring and Summer.

• Hillbilly Jokes & Others

  Hillbilly Awareness 1. Don't be surprised to find movie rentals and bait in the same store. 2. "Mom'n'em" is not one person. When someone asks, "How's your Mom'n'em?" They are referring to the whole family. 3. Remember, "You all" is singular, "All ya'll" is plural, and "All y'alls" is plural possessive. 4. Get used to hearing, "You ain't from arouncheer, are ya?" 5. If you hear "Hey, y'all, watch this," move out of the way there's something stupid about to happen. 6. Hillbilly's aint quite figured out turn signals so they are a novelty. 7. When you see a hillbilly driving 15 mph down the middle of the road, remember that most folks learn to drive on a tractor and the rest learned to drive while hunting from the road. 8. Do not be surprised to find that 10 year olds own their own shotguns and are proficient marksmen. Or that their Mammas taught them how to aim. 9. Duct tape is not only part of every survival kit; it is the WHOLE kit. 10. If you hear a turkey gobble, get out of the way. "Hillbillies" view a turkey gobble like city folk to payoff bells at a slot machines only da hillbilly has a gun.
